How do I Register?
Click the "Register for Camp" button in the upper right hand corner of our website to complete our secure online registration.

How do I Pay?
Secure online payments are available via Debit/ Credit Card on the Active (registration) website.

Is there a Refund Policy?

If for some reason a camper cannot attend, please inform Kara Moore (kmoore@sports.uga.edu) as soon as possible, but not later than 21 days prior to the beginning of the SUMMER camp, and no later than 4 days prior to FALL/WINTER clinics.  If the camp administrator is not notified 21 or 4 days prior to the camp or clinic date, no refund will be issued. ALL cancellations for Fall/Winter Clinics will have a $25 administrative fee, and Summer Camps a $100 administrative fee. If an individual cannot attend due to a medical reason occurring within the 21 (summer) or 4 (Fall/Winter) day period, please provide a medical excuse from a physician to kmoore@sports.uga.edu and a refund will be awarded, less the administrative fee. Finally, no refunds will be issued upon expulsion, no show, or voluntary withdrawal once the camp has begun.

 


 
How do I know if I'm Confirmed for Camp?

What should I bring to the camp?
ALL CAMPERS: 
Remember :  Your child is responsible for carrying their own bag to and from the field before and after each session.  Please take all unnecessary items out and leave them at home!  
  • Softball Glove
  • Cleats
  • Bat
  • Batting Gloves
  • Catcher's Gear (if applicable)
  • Athletic Socks
  • Practice Shorts / Pants
  • Practice T-shirts / Sweatshirts
  • Running/turf  Shoes (No cleats in buildings or Indoor Facility)
 
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS ONLY

  • Twin Sheets and Blanket or Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Appropriate sleeping attire
  • Towels and washcloths for bathing (EVERYONE MUST SHOWER DAILY)
  • Soap, Deodorant, Toothbrush, Toothpaste
  • Bathing Suit and Towel for Swimming
  • Shower Flip Flops - (Community Bathrooms)
  • Running Shoes for nightly activities..Crocs are not acceptable
  • Sunscreen
  • Any Medication they may need during the week-Tylenol, Advil, feminine hygiene products.    We do not have these to provide for the campers.

What NOT to bring to camp?
  • Please do not bring expensive electronics!  We can not be responsible for them when we are all at the field all day.  Maintenance may be required when we are not at the dorm.
  • Ipod/MP3/Music Players
  • Your own ball (We'll have plenty here & don't want yours to get lost)
  • Cash- minimal cash only,  put your money in the camp bank
  • TV's
  • Laptops
  • Cell Phones, they cause more trouble than good.  They are able to use a counselor's phone if needed. They are not allowed to bring them to the training sessions.
  • Refrigerators- This is camp, not home.
  • Coolers,  we can not supply ice to 150 campers, Sorry

Where and when is check-in?
Check in will be at the dorm that we are assigned.  This information will be provided later.

Which meals are provided?
Overnight Campers - Sunday evening meal - Wednesday  morning breakfast.
 MAKE SURE YOUR CAMPER HAS LUNCH BEFORE YOU LEAVE ON SUNDAY!
Daycampers - Will be provided lunch on Monday and Tuesday at a dining hall on campus.  Dinner will be provided only if you choose the late check out option of 8pm  (Additional $50)

Fall and winter clinics do not provide meals for campers. Each camper is responsible for her meal.

Can I come and watch my camper?
If you come to the fields you must stay in the stands at all times.  This is for liability purposes.  Parents are not allowed in the Indoor Facilities due to space constraints.  Parents may come to the scrimmage games on Wednesday morning (summer).

How are the groups divided up?  N/A for clinics
Due to the number of campers, it is imperative that groups are made up ahead of time from the information given on the registration form (ex. primary position, if they play travel ball, at what level or age group they normally play)

****Pitchers and Catchers are pulled out to work on their positions during defense sessions. Please be sure to register them as a pitcher or catcher to be included in that training.  We can not move them to that position after camp begins.  
The staff will divide first by age and then will adjust by skill level at their discretion.  The staff meet nightly to determine if a campers needs to move up or down to ensure safety.  If you or your camper have questions regarding their group please have them see their counselor or talk to Kara or one of their coaches. Safety is our number one priority, and decisions for groups are based solely on that fact.

  She may not be in the same group as all of her teammates, but all will be getting the same training in the course of the day.  

Phones available?   N/A for Clinics
We have not banned cell phones, but, we strongly recommend that they NOT bring cell phones or other electronic devices to camp. We can not be responsible for them and they cause more problems than they solve.
The counselors all have cell phone access if the campers need to call home for emergencies.  If a camper brings a phone, it must remain in their rooms or bags, and we are NOT responsible for anything that may happen to them.

Summer Camp: Please do not panic if your child does not answer the phone.  They do not spend that much time in their rooms.  WE ASK THAT ALL CELL PHONES BE TURNED OFF BY 10PM.

Is there medical staff at camp?
Two certified athletic trainers will be on staff during all training sessions and on call in the evening if necessary.  
Small medications will be available, but a phone call to the legal guardian .  Please make sure the trainer is aware of any prescription meds that you are sending with your camper. 

ICE and WATER will be provided at all training sessions.

 

PLEASE DISCUSS ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS WITH THE TRAINER AT REGISTRATION!!  

We have had problems in the past with campers being "sick" and wanting to stay in the training room all day.  We will call you if that is the case.  If they are too sick to participate then they should probably go home.

 

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CAMP SICK OR WITH AN OPEN WOUND WITHOUT HAVING THE TRAINER LOOK AT IT PRIOR TO YOU LEAVING.  

Any child that has a fever or illness that we feel is detrimental to the other campers will be required to go home. Refunds will not be made once the camp has begun.
